Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Saturday night we finally reached Trailer Trash status.
I had to laugh. In our 5th wheel, I was barefoot, in shorts and a sleeveless T-shirt (aka: wife beater shirt) stirring in the cheese to cooked pasta shells from a Kraft Mac & Cheese box. That's all we decided to have for dinner. It sounded good to both of us.
I looked over at my DW and said "Well we've finally done it... We've become trailer trash"
She laughed so hard the "chew" flew out of her mouth and landed smack on the screen of the TV.....just kidding... she was able to spit it into the spittoon next to her rocking chair.... still kidding.
The Mac & Cheese was good by the way. It was the deluxe version.

Love it!!! I used to tell everyone that "my goal in life is to retire and become trailer trash". Well we finally made it and we are enjoying every minute of it! Some people just do not understand this life so you have to have a since of humor to get around them. Even when you get out here on the road, you will still run into people in campgrounds with differing opinions and attitudes toward what is best to live in. There again, just need to keep a good sense of humor. We had a good friend that has full timed for several years tell us several times that "one day you will move up to a motorhome". We still get allot of laughs out of this statement, since we are happy to just remain "trailer trash" in our DRV.
