Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Got the truck! Need the 5er!

We are pretty excited here! We bought a 2011 F-450 6.7 diesel DRW King Ranch over the weekend!

That puts us a step closer! We have the RV narrowed down enough to know the truck will more than handle anything that is on our top ten list. Now on to Hershey next week! We don't intend to buy at the show but narrow the list to three at least.

Best thing is the truck seems to get much better mileage than the old Excursion did!

Oh, If I didn't buy a matched pair, I would have done it the OTHER way around!

Truck after narrowing down exactly what you have.

Congrats though, and good luck at Hershey, we were there for the Rally 2 yrs ago when we were first dreaming of the life, and now we're in it...

Normally I would agree with Cheryl, as a rule, but a F450 - should be able to handle all but the very heaviest rigs!

Bill and I are considering going to the Hershey show Sunday, what day are you going? Wouldn't mind meeting up!

Good luck!

Thats what we figured about the F450  too Kelly.  and hopefully it will end up part of a matched set Mitch! LOL. It's brown and beige and most rigs we see would coordinate well with it!

We will be in Hershey Thursday-Sunday. It's about an hr north of us. You must be in the general area also? we would do a get together if you can make it.
