Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Wells Fargo again!

22 days before the closing and I get mail saying our flood insurance is cancelled due to non payment! Wells Fargo gets money from me to pay that out of escrow and they did not pay it. furious

And, to make matters worse, I see a tropical storm forming off the coast of South Carolina! Due to our location, this house can only flood from a hurricane storm surge; so we should be OK for another 22 days. I will have to put my trust in the Good Lord!

If I ever get another mortgage, I hope I don't get Wells Fargo!

I'm so sorry to hear about your woes! We had nothing but a month of headaches on the closing of our house -- the buyers were using Wells Fargo. If you google their reviews, you see nothing but horror stories. I hope things get better for you!

Once upon a time when we had an escrow account they did not pay our taxes before December 31st.  And just what did they tell me? "Look at it this way... you can deduct your taxes twice this year!" Really? Escrow closed and I took matters into my own hands!

 Joe,

You need to be all over Wells Fargo on that one, especially if they are the mortgage holder.  When we had a house, there were occasions when our mortgage holder (not Wells Fargo) forgot to pay the insurance from escrow.  We simply reminded them that the insurance would be what paid off the mortgage if anything happened.  Our mortgage holder (Chase, I think) got right on it and got things paid.
