Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
After a diligent search for an inspector to do an inspection for me...all the way across the country, I have finally found a solution. Has anyone ever used Pinnacle Automobile Appraisers? I found them on another blog and they are located in 47 states across the country. I am having them do a complete inspection for me on a motorhome located in Mobile, AL. (I'm in Idaho) The cost is $350.00. It includes a complete written report with photos of any discrepancies. For an additional $75.00 they will also do an appraisal. They will inspect or appraise any kind of vehicle, RV, boat or ATV. The head office is located in Texas.
It seems like lots of folks are sometimes having a problem finding a qualified inspector and this seemed like an easy solution. Hope this helps.
Full-timers by mid June. Soon as the house closes!!!

Does their inspection only apply to the drive train, or does it also include all of the RV subsystems like hot water heater, furnaces, air conditioners, etc? Are there any reviews out there by people that had them inspect an RV for them?
Not trying to be negative, but while the drive train might be fine, the rest could nickel and dime one to death.

My understanding is that it includes all systems on the coach including past maintenance records. I'll let you know more later in the week. The inspection and appraisal should be complete by June 3rd or 4th.
