Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
It has been just shy of 19 months ago that we lifted our jacks and hit the road and we are a week away from coming full circle. We will be back in southern Oregon where we left from to visit family and friends.
It will be interesting to see the changes and it's strange that it almost seems like last week that we left instead of 19 months. It must mean we have had a pretty good time on the road.
I agree with Barb, there are way too many states missing on your map. Including the one Barb and I are in, Washington. (Actually we are much closer than in the same state, since we are parked three campsites apart in the same campground.) Keep circling.

Most certainly, this is just a time to visit family and friends. We are staying in the RV and plan to fill in the map. I just meant full circle from where we left from in 2012.
In fact the 5 acre chunk of land we had in reserve just in case we didn't like the life style has an offer on it now so one less tie. We will probably bounce between southern Oregon visiting friends and selling off some stuff we have in storage and the Portland Area where Diane's mom lives and the coast (for a little piece and quiet LOL) until Sept. this year and then take off again.
We just passed thru southern OR and I thought of you two, knowing you were on your way back. In about 10 days we will be back in the old neighborhood, looking forward to seeing friends and so excited to think about all the upcoming summer weekends without yard work!😊
A few months after we sold our house there was an ice storm, rare in Western Washington, and it caused a lot of damage in our old neighborhood. About a week later I drove by in a rental car and could see lots of limbs down in our old yard. Not my problem. That was a really good feeling.
(I was not happy about having to fly from Florida for a doctor's appointment, but did. It was the one and only time I had to do that.)
