Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Wow we're homeless!!

We're Gene & Colleen and we are homeless.smile Today we sold our home! It happened so fast we still can't believe it. Listed our home on a Friday, had a showing on Saturday, and a contract on Monday. PTL.  Gregg with RV haulers is delivering our HDT on June 10th. Planning to pick up our new 5th wheel in Kansas on the 23rd. We are looking forward to the fultime lifestyle. We have been reading every forum possible and look forward to meeting some of you wonderful people on the road. Thanks for sharing your experiences, it helped us to make the decision to go 4 it!

Not homeless in my book, you're moving into a house that moves with you! You wont be stuck with bad weather or noisy neighbors ever again.

Welcome to a big, big neighborhood.

You will be houseless, not homeless. You'll find that you will quickly talk about the rig as home.

Congratulations! We are also looking for some of that MOJO, but we don't have our house on the market yet. Still trying to get rid of clutter and complete the clean up. Hopefully following you soon!

Thanks for all the kind words. Closing went without a hitch. The 3 most used phrases in our vocabulary... Pack, give away, trash. Looking forward to teaching my wonderful wife to drive our HDT.

Congratulations!!! Decluttering is the hardest part. While we wait for a buyer we're STILL decluttering!

Our open house is Sunday. We are doing detail cleaning. Put up new shutters, washed windows, clipped bushes, etc. I so much love living in the motor home, but glad we can use the house plumbing in the mean time.

Congratulations!  Meg and I are in the same boat. We listed out home and it sold in 11 days.  I woke up in the middle of the night last night and realized that I'm going to be a disabled homeless Vietnam vet!  Maybe I should stand on a street corner in Spokane with a cardboard sign saying "Need $$ for Tiffin motor home".  Well, not quite really.  But we have to be out of our home of the past 22 years on June 16th.  We're still negotiating a deal on a 2012 motor home that we plan to pick up soon after closing .   Hope to see lots of you folks somewhere on the road.
