Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
UPDATE: We closed on the house today! It's official, today, July 10, 2014 we are now full-timers! I cried after the closing, but it was a good cry: happy, de-stressed, mad and happy. That feeling that I am 'just on vacation' has been effectively eliminated, lol.
So many years in planning and we made it.
Thank you RV-Dreams, this community has been the greatest support ever!

Congratulations Linda! I am so happy for you. Break out the champagne! I don't really like champagne, but after we close on our house, we will open a bottle. Our niece came to visit a couple of years ago and brought a bottle for us. We haven't opened it and just left it in our liquor cabinet. So, now that we are getting close to closing day, I wondered about that bottle. Is it still good? Is it a quality champagne? So, off to Google I went. Holy crap! The champagne is valued at about $160.00! We'll have to have a picture of us and the bottle to send to our niece! That was very nice of her to bring such an expensive hostess gift.
Thanks all...Joe Camper, I do not know the value of the champagne we had after the closing, but it was really good ;)

AWESOME, Linda. Been there, done that -- know the feeling well of all the ups & downs and obstacles, but then the day finally happens. Have a glass of champagne for me as well!

Wow...that is GREAT news...enjoy your dream. Although we will be "part time full timers" we hope to see you guys on the road! I'll be retiring next June and we will be doing Sturgis Rally in SD, then a 3-4 mos summer trip out west.
