Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

A New BLOG!

Hello!

Just wanted to let you all know I finally started that blog I have been talking about for MONTHS!

I have just one teeny post, but if you have time and want to see what's up, here's the link (or since I can't get it to go blue like a link, ou could cut/paste)

bkamericanodyssey.com

Guess I could/should add it to my signature, huh?  This is going to involve reading more of Terry's instructions.  That might have to wait til tomorrow!

Thanks,

Kelly

Great start. Looks like you'll be a natural.  BTW, nice pix of your rig on your page.

Kelly,

I activated your link, but I had to change to color of the link to black to make it stand out.  I think your text color choice is causing a problem with making the link a blue color.

Check out "Forum Tips" for a thread on inserting links into forum posts.

Just wanted to say thanks to all who have checked out my blog and for the encouraging words! I added it to my signature, but the link doesn't seem to work - maybe I need to change the color?

Hi Kelly,  enjoyed your blog, looking forward to your adventures.  We are just starting out as well, we are on the other coast so until we are on the road we won't get to attend a Dreamers Rally but we are looking forward to one.  We have moved in to our 5th wheel so we are getting close to hitting the road, the plan is to leave Washington some time after Labor Day.  We will be headed to Arizona for our first winter, hope to spend it in the Mesa area but don't know just where yet.

I want to start a blog as well, just haven't done it yet...I am reading blogging for dummies so maybe that will help.

Good Luck selling your home and getting on the road.

Looking forward to more posts on your blog.

I enjoyed your blog. Even though I've been doing a blog for almost two years I'm not very computer literate so I still have trouble doing things that other people do. I'm just thankful that I can get one published once in a while.

Bill and Kelly,

Changing the color doesn't do anything but let the link stand out different from your text color in your signature.  I took the liberty to go into your signature area and activate your blog link there.  As you'll notice, I also changed the color so it would stand out.

Look in "Forum Tips" for a thread about inserting links into posts.  That has all the instructions needed for creating a link in either the body of a comment or in the signature.  If you follow those instructions, the url address that you link to will open in a new window, and that is how Howard prefers that we do our links.
