Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

This is a good question and topic, we are planning to buy next year and start FT maybe I should start thinking about a name. Me and my wife have both a motorcycle, mine is Mistress and my wife's bike is Marley. So we will start searching for the motorhome and the trailer.  For sure the word Liberty will be used for the motorhome but will have to find something before or after the word Liberty.

You could call it the "Liberty Belle"

Priscilla and I have been married a little over 20 years and we tell everyone we are still on our Honeymoon. So when we bought our Solitude we thought of maybe calling it "Honeymoon Suite" or "Love Shack", but we thought that either one of those would probably embarrass our grown children or grandchildren. After some thought we decided on "Good Times". As they say in New Orleans, "Laissez les bons temps rouler" (Let the good times roll)!

I hate to say it, but as a moderator, I'm becoming concerned with some of the comments made recently.  Hopefully we won't have to start dividing this place up into different "ratings" like the movies do.

Just kidding, folks, but we really should be careful of our comments.  The internet is a wide open place, so innocent eyes could be reading.

It is just that................The internet, a wide open place. As far as innocent eyes could be reading. Well I don't think many young kids are cruising the RV Forums. I think they do more BookFace and Texting(for the ones that do anyway). I'd say there's likely more issues with them hangin' on BookFace.

My opinion is "Sometimes" the Mod's on various forums get their skirts a little twisted.

Ahhh, but it isn't wide open as long as someone sets parameters as to what is allowed in a forum.

The owners of this website, which in essence is their "property," have set parameters, and my responsibility is to enforce their "rules."

I apologize ahead of time for my reply. We have not named the motorhome or the toad. But after a year of following the directions of our GPS she has earned the name, "The B-word". At least once a month that spills from my mouth in frustration. She has truly earned the title.

Sorry for my rudeness, but life happens.

Our DRV is called the CoW (Castle on Wheels), and is pulled by a Ford F550, named the BULL.  The Two of them together are called the BEASTOur RIG

Still makes my heart skip a beat.  However, we're still only out on the road (full-timing) for only 3 days, if you take the
2 months we've been mooch-parked at my brother, while Cheryl's Hip was revised, and recovering from the surgery.
