Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Our's is name Figment II (there was a Figment I before we went fulltiming). She is named after one of our favorite Disney character from the Land of the Imagination at EPCOT - as in a "Figment" of our imagination. I believe we are probably the only RV going down the road with a pink/purple dragon on the door.

I love it!!! That was one of my favorite exhibits at Epcot (when I last went about 25 years ago). I still remember the song and just gave away my daughter's Figment doll which we found when purging the attic!

This is a good question and topic, we are planning to buy next year and start FT maybe I should start thinking about a name. Me and my wife have both a motorcycle, mine is Mistress and my wife's bike is Marley. So we will start searching for the motorhome and the trailer. For sure the word Liberty will be used for the motorhome but will have to find something before or after the word Liberty.

Now that we are full time we mainly just refer to ours as "home". However, until Ohio raised the price of vanity plates , we used to have one that was "SUITE B", so sometimes also refer to this as a name. Now that we are Texas residence, might look their cost for vanity plates next time.

Mine is The Tardis. It seems bigger on the inside than the outside and it goes through space and time although my present one seems to be broken. It only travels into the future.

In order to get the "time travel into the past" function working, you have to set the campfire to "lit" and the liquid refreshment supply to "available" and then the past will operate very well... at least until the liquid refreshment supply auto-trips due to low levels... then past events either get crazy or just foggy

It started as "Our Golden Getaway" because we had a golden retriever named Gracie who loved to go with us and she was part of the primary reason we got into rv'ing since we would not kennel her, and because we figured we would be full-timing in our "golden" years. We renamed it "Gracies Golden Getaway" last year when we lost her from cancer on an actual trip. We are getting a new rig this fall, but have a framed picture of her with a gold plate on the bottom called "Gracie's Golden Getaway" She'll always be with us wherever we go.

As soon as my husband sat in our new 2013 Dodge Laramie Longhorn Dullay (rootbeer brown/gold) he named it Hoss. The new Montana therefore, is called the Ponderosa.
We have has so much fun reading the different names on here. We've laughed out loud at many, so creative!
My son named our Outback "ScoobyDo" and we call our GPS "The Boss!"

We don't have a GPS unit yet, but we did have a Ford Explorer that had the indash navigation. The day we bought it and drove it home, we had the audio up. We got so tired of the thing telling us we were coming up on an "unknown road" that Jo said that it was time to put an end to "Chatty Cathy" and turned down the volume. Our F450 has the same system, and I refuse to let "Chatty Cathy" talk in that one either.
If needs be, our phones do a lot better than those older systems.

Like Terry we call ours "HOME" because that's what it is even though it moves to different location. Haven't named the GPS either even though I do spend some time talking back to it.
OMG Jessie & Sherry! YOUR name made me LOL out loud!
Our names are in my signature description. l Just like boat people name their boats, its fun to name our rolling homes :)

Ours is Ed...two letters in the Vin...when we were trading in the old trailer and buying Ed, the dealer was getting the two trailers mixed up so I noticed the letters ED in the VIN for the new one and the name was born. I have our scrapbook for the trailer called Traveling with Ed
It's funny, we actually had names for each of our first 3 TT's, now that this 5th wheel is home we haven't named it, it's just home. We have referred to our combination of the truck / trailer as the "Behemoth" but that is usually only when we are trying to back it into a tight campsite or when we see our rig parked next to several smaller rigs and ours stands out due to size.
By what I spent this week on stupid repairs that should have been regular maintenance by the previous owner, I should be calling it the "Bottomless Pit".
The name in reality is simply "The Beav" short for The Beaver Coach.
I don't think I gave to elaborate too much when I let you know we have a "Weiner Dog" and the types of conversations that get started over the Beaver and our Weiner. The hilarity never ends.
