Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

We finally have a date to leave on our fulltiming adventure. My daughter put a deposit down on an apartment and she will be moving out on her own on July 1. We have went about our preparations in a slightly different way than most.  We sold the house and moved to an apartment last year waiting to retire, which I did after at the end of the year.  My old company begged me (as a consultant) to come back to finish one final proposal.  That should be done in June and as soon as that is done, we are on our way. I have been following fulltiming blogs and dreaming for 15 years, it is hard to believe it is here.

I hope to get to one of the future rallies and meet many of you who have inspired us all of these years!

Congratulations.  It looks like we will begin "adventuring" together.  Our retirement begins July 1 and we will be moving to Colorado to be closer to relatives, the mountains and more opportunities for photography.

Thanks all, while my wife has always been supportive of this lifestyle change, it is great to see her perusing the forums and reading the journals, all the things that I have been doing for years. I started by following Barb and Ron Hofmeister back in 1999. When I found RV Dreams it threw my dreams into hyperdrive and now it is here!
