Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
My husband and I made a committment early this year to go FT in 2-3 years (sooner if my job continues to get worse!) After much discussion on our retirement years fast approaching, we found Linda and Howards website here. We gave serious consideration for over 3 months before deciding jointly to sell the house and everything we own and head out in just a couple of years. We are already in the process of downsizing and plan on attending the April rally. I've read about 5 books which were great on FT-ing and we are getting more excited with every passing day. We currently have a 27 foot TT but hopefully this fall will own a Solitude 305 5th wheel. Just narrowing down our future home out of so many choices was exciting in itself. We're hoping to get into workkamping and can't wait to go! We're open for any advice or important lessons those of you already out there can share. Thanks much and hope to see some of you in TN.

This is a great, informative, friendly forum and you're right on to attend a Rally at this point. Warning! You might find yourself moving up your plans because of the excitement generated at the rally. 😄We'll see you there.

Sherry's warning is very appropriate! We decided to go fulltime in Nov of 2012, and were semi-houseless in June 2013. Couldn't leave the area due to work constraints until October 31 2013!
