Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Sue and I have been waiting to see one of the new Keystone Montana's floor plans, the 3610RL and finally found one at a dealer in PA.
Well we drove about 2 hours to see what it looked liked. As soon as we stepped inside we knew this was one sweet coach. Keystone has really done a great job with both the layout and the quality. The most important thing was that Sue could not find anything wrong with it. That old saying goes...if mama is happy everyone is happy applies in everything and this is no exception.
So we sat down with the dealer and after he worked the numbers we decided to pull the trigger and order one ...so in 8 weeks or so we will be taking possession of a 2015 model. First time we actually ordered a rig so now the anticipation is really going to ramp up....but we are so looking forward to the process of pulling along side of the new 5er and transfering all our worldy possessions!

I mentioned your comments to DW, & she promptly Googled the floor plan. Guess what. Momma's happy with what she sees also. Our 3295RK is getting dated & we have been looking around. Thanks for the tip. See you down the road.

That's usually the way it works. "I just want to peak inside" she said, "you just bought it" the salesman said.. lol
Good time for a purging and repack!
I am so pleased that I am single!!! LOL!!! Hope you have ordered one for me also!!! Ha! Ha! As the old saying goes: "you only go through this life once". Enjoy!!! Pieere

That's how it always happens. "Let's just stop in and look around. We're not ready to buy anything" Next thing you know you've got your check book out and picking out colors.

Well we did our PDI yesterday on the new coach and we have to say.....Montana did a great job overall! We first did the top to bottom walk thru of the new rig with the actual owner of the dealership who is the only one that does the walk through. This took almost 2 hours and then we went right into the PDI going head to toe and spent 4 hours plus and used a fine toothed comb and found 15 items....all minor cosmetic issues (decals, minor blemishes on cabinetry and interior, etc.)
The new oyster color is awesome. The auto leveling is a great add to the standard package. The basement compartment is almost a foot wider than the one we have now. There is a continuous LED lite strip under the exterior awning at the top that is controlled from interior electric panel. The interior closets all have LED strip lights. The G614 tire option included the spare. There is plenty of room on the walls now for our pictures. Sue commented how the new rig just feels like a comfortable home inside. For the price point I feel Montana is it! (MHO)
Now we will wait until next weekend for the big move when we park the rigs side by side. I am pretty sure they can get all the PDI issues done by then.
Sue is stoked....and I cannot wait to get our baby home to get the solar panel system re-installed and all the other honey doo items Sue has in my cart.

We just did our PDI yesterday on our new Montana too. We are also impressed on the quality, especially the 6 way auto levelers. We had only 5 very minor cosmetic issues all taken care of already. They have 8 very nice concrete pads with hookups here (with lots of trees) which they recommend you stay at for a couple days/nights to get used to everything. Very much recommend Lakeshore RV in Muskegon, MI. We head back home to CA tomorrow.
Thanks and good luck with your new 'Tana as well. We had thought about upgrading our 3580 to the 3582 but we fell in love with the 3610 once we saw it.....We feel both are great choices with lots to offer. We were amazed at how good Pocono RV in Wind Gap, PA has been. They are old school family owned and put to shame the Big CW dealers....

As they said at the Rally, you'll know your right rig when you walk in the door! It's so true, but also important to pay attention to structural issues. We really think you'll love your new 5er. Your dealer sounds awesome, says She who sat this morning in the clubhouse at a dealer listening to big MH new owners complain about their service. One couple went to the General Manager of the Dealer to report issues with the Service Manager. The SM later came to their rig and said, "I understand you have a problem with me. I can make you sit on this lot for 7 weeks and I've done it before." I'm not mentioning the dealer name because this was from the people who experienced it. It's so awesome to hear great dealer reports. Keep them coming, LesandSue!

We heard the horror stories as well.....when we first fell for this rig the salesman actually put the numbers together and when we saw them our jaws dropped and when we asked if this as a "if we leave don't take it today then it is no deal?" He said if want to take the weekend to think about it thats fine in fact take a longer if you need too.
No pressure and as up front as possible. When we made the deal the owner came in and sat down to talk and said if we ever had issues we could call direct.
One thing we were impressed with our new rig is the heavier 12" frame, the attention to the construction both visible and hidden. I took he basement wall panels off and the work was clean and neat. The attention to detail is there.
Sue is happy so I am happy.

Well after 12 hours of transferring our belongings from the old coach to the new one we are back at base camp for the rest of the summer.....Here is a pic of our new baby on our way back!
As for our dealer, Pocono RV in Wind Gap, PA all we can say is WOW! Best we ever have dealt with....Professional and on the ball....from sales to service!

Just checked out pics of it. The layout is almost identical to our 2014 Cedar Creek. We had a 2009 Montana. Kinda wish we looked at another Montana before buying the CC. We like most things about it but the quality seems to be less than what we had with the Montana.
