Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We had that snow yesterday and wanted to share with you. The snow that fell though is just about gone and will surely disappear before the next batch comes in. I believe that's why they call it 'March Madness'. Winter tries to hold on and spring can't quite get a grip.

Snowing here in Chicagoland this morning too. On the plus side it'll be gone by noon as temps climb into the 40+ range. Uncovered our our raised beds yesterday and found spinach growing. Bodes well for our garden this year. Will miss growing fresh veggies once we hit the road. Will have to figure a workaround (potted tomatoes, peppers, herbs?)
It's trying!!! From the 60's and 70's to the 20's and 30's; I see sunshine and 50 at 9:30. I believe it will be a late Spring for most of the Northern States. Not trying to bring dissappointing news; but this past Winter remined me of the mid-1960's and early 70's. Even the local Tennessians say this is unusual!!!

Many years ago we were visiting my wife's sister when she lived in Albany NY and had a blizzard on April 1st, which deposited more than a foot of snow. That was an April Fools Day to remember, especially since we were flying out on the 2nd.

Sorry guys, but I'm with Russ. 70s here in Placerville (1/2 way between Sacramento & Lake Tahoe) and I am headed out for a beautiful Spring hike!! Don't worry, that snow will melt eventually! (I used to live in Upstate NY)
Low 70's here in Oklahoma, BUT, on a bad note, my allergies are screaming at me definitely letting me know that OK is no place to be in the spring. Plus the weather forecast looks like a roller coaster over the past few days and the next few to come. Much rather be somewhere with less allergens and more consistent temps! Next spring....

Here in east Texas the highs have been in the 70's with lows in the 40's still not right for crappie fishing! A little more time and it will be on!
Stay around till temps reach the high 80's or low 90's and then out of here for the mountains for cool weather.
Love this life,
Jim

There is a Campground up near Jackman Maine that the seasonal rate is 600.00........of course their idea of the summer season is 1 month!!..(I think they consider it spring thaw )

My peach trees and orange trees are in full bloom. We didn't have any winter. One rainy week was all we got. I'm afraid this drought will be reflected in the price of fruit this year.
