Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Congrats. Nice truck that blends in with the snow on the ground.....
At one time, I would have said that I'd never have a white vehicle just for that very reason. However, with RV'ing, one "should" be trying to avoid the snow. Well, everyone but me...
...we're going to where there will be MORE snow and I have a white pickup as well, except for the beige (?) color at the bottom.
However, we saved enough when we found ours used that I didn't care about the color. It was amazing that we found a used truck that matched the trailer.

Thank you all for your comments. We are very excited about getting on the road this summer. I thought since the majority of the 5th wheel was white it would be easiest to match with a white truck. What a lucky find for you Terry. That's a great match for yours. We thought about the crew cab but went with the extended cab since it is just the two of us. It will also(hopefully) keep us from overloading the truck too. Glad I have the truck for a few weeks before we pick up the 5th wheel. It takes a little getting used to the bigger, wider body and turning radius. Can't imagine what it will be like when the 5th wheel is hitched up. Dog Folks said "The next problem will be wiping the ear to ear grin off your face when towing. LOL" I have the grin going on for sure and I don't think I'll ever be able to wipe it off. LOL. Curt
After we bought our F450, the desire to go drive it was almost overwhelming. I had to come up with excuses to use it, just so I could go drive it. Now, we know that we need to drive it to get a good "warm-up," so about every 2 or 3 weeks, we use it to go to church, which is about 27 miles one way from home. Careful, or you may find the desire to drive it can be very strong.

LOL, Terry, I think "our truck" matches our trailer (LOL, given that we have the same trailer you have) better than yours! Just sayin'!! And a year later, we still don't have the grin wiped off our faces with having found both the 5'ver and truck "lightly used" as separate purchases.
