Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Well one step closer to the "dream", got a 2004 F350 king Ranch, we will be needing tires befor too long. we have wild country on there now, seem pretty decent. We wont be going any where too rugged, looking for E rated, smoother ride. So, was curious as to what your preferences are? Next up is a Travel trailer, going to keep it below 32 ft. so with any luck, we'll hit the road too!! Thanks
Have had very good service with the Michelin LTX A/T2
Seen them for about $208 per
Used them in heavy towing service and solo touring service on my truck and have been very pleased with the ride, wear and traction.Still good at 36,000+
IMO best not to go inexpensive in a towing environment
We had gone to Sears and les Schwabs today. Sears offered Michelins MS/2. Les Schwab had decent looking Toyos (more spendy) and Coopers,( which we stay away from) May I ask where you guys purchased yours? And thank you for the feed back!!
I'll add another idea here,
While I hate the idea of spending money in national retail chains, buying tires in a place like Sears is not a bad idea. It may cost a little more, but its easy to find a store for any hazard warranty. We went with Discount tire for ours. Got the Repair or replace warranty that's good nationwide or wherever they have a store. Also covers lifetime rotation and balance. That's worth its weight on a dually considering most places charge 60-70 for a dually.

I purchased mine from the local Chevy dealer.When I buy tires they do an internet / local search for the best price on whatever I need and then match that price whatever it is.
