Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I know I haven't been around very much lately. That's because I'm so busy! We really need a great sales assistant and we've decided to tap the best RVers on the planet. Here is the job posting. Email: Terry at mlrhodes.com if you are interested. If you want the inside scoop, email me at carol at mlrhodes.com.
We are a developer and home builder in one of the nicest communities in the RGV.
We are looking for a bright, energetic, personable assistant who has a vision of a
longer term commitment where the compensation grows. This is a perfect position
for an early retiree who still needs a little financial help to be comfortable.
I am seeking a new homes sales person who is willing to start out as an assistant and
work their way into the sales position. It will require a great attitude and aptitude along
with a drive to succeed and desire for a second career.
The immediate needs are for strong customer service skills, excellent phone skills, very
good English (Spanish a plus but not required), solid computer skills for data entry, email
and MS Office, and be a very strong communicator, both oral and written.
This position will work out of a nice office in a safe and quiet development, handling
phone calls, walk-ins, and emails. There will be moderate data entry and data reporting
(training provided) and tasks like taking pictures of construction and communicating
status to customers either over the phone or via email. There will also be some menial
things like maintaining supplies, making copies, mailing information to prospects and
other simple office duties.
The successful candidate will receive extensive sales, design, and construction training,
from one of the best companies in the business, along the way to becoming a sales person.
If you are the right candidate, with the right personality, the ability to learn an enormous
amount of design and construction details, and are driven to be successful, this could be a
long term position. If any of the above prove not to be a fit for our needs, this will be a
temporary 4 - 6 month position. It’s all about you!
Compensation begins with a full hook-up RV site in a luxury RV resort for the first 25 hours.
Additional hours are paid at $10 / hour plus a full benefits package. Average week is 40 hours
and includes weekends.
Please email your resume including work history and experience. Include a cover letter
"selling" me on why I should consider you. Only the best candidates will get interviews,
and I will contact them directly.
