Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I'm so excited because tomorrow, it will 39 degrees and I can go outside! We take a family walk weather permitting and the weather hasn't been "permitting". The next day we are supposed to get freezing rain.
It will go down to around 16 here tonight; Clear and cold; even the moon has icicles hanging off the bottom. Got to a warm 45 with the wind making it feel like 30! Thursday will be about 38 and clear; Friday 44 and rain Saturday.

Currently at 33 degrees here in Oklahoma City at 7:20 pm. We watched the weather tonight and they are predicting a high of 59 degrees on the 19th, which would be a week from tomorrow. However, they are then forecasting a high of 19 degrees for the next day, after another arctic cold front comes through.
I think Jo and I are getting "cold weather experience" for when we move to Colorado. Some posted that Colorado had something like -17 degrees a while back, so it has got me to wondering where that -17 degrees was located. We may want to convince our family to choose someplace further south to live.
So far this winter, the coldest we've seen was just about 8 degrees overnight.

We have temps below freezing during the day and in the teens or single digit at night here for a couple of weeks now and we drove over to the RV park in town and there were a group of contractors there staying in RVs of all sorts and they are obviously doing OK. We have stayed in that RV park and it gets a lot of wind. A couple did have shiny new Open Range trailers. Would have been nice if someone were around to chat with.

Oh, Mike! That must have been the storm we had and it appeared to get colder as it moved north. Snow is a good insulator though but not to the tone of -25. Get moved and stay inside!
They would have to stake me to the ground to get me to stay in any cold weather like that! Daughter wanted me to come to Grand Rapids; MI; then go with them to Plattsburgh, NY for Christmas. Nope... Nada....No Way! Summer is for visiting anything North of Louisville, KY. Winter is for visiting Miami, San Diego, Corpus Christi, Hawaii or Mexico City.
