Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Anyone have a front living room 5'er?

I wonder if these have more room?  They look to feel like there are more "rooms" anyway...more house-like?

Does anyone own one of these and do you wish you had the picture window view out the back from the living area?

My husband and I are seriously considering a cedar creek 38fl which is a front living room.  Our only concern is it seems the basement storage area isn't as large as others.  We are looking into ways of making it more user friendly and make it as useful as possible.

I agree that it feels more "homey" and I love the huge window in the bedroom, it make it feel so much bigger.  The front bedrooms feel so cramped and dark to me.  I have read some comments that say people like the large window in the living room for viewing the outside but the windows in the one we are looking at seem to bring in a lot of light and provide good viewing to the outside.

We have a Redwood 36 FL. We love it.It has 5 slides, overall we have a large LV room with side windows. The kitchen is large with a pantry. We still have lots of room in bedroom. We do not feel crowed, yes we don't have much storage underneath but that just keeps the weight of extra down. Unfortunately this year Crossroads upgraded our model to a 38 FL with some good and bad upgrades.

We do! Our Cedar Creek 38FL that Kelly is interested in arrived on 10/4. I was very concerned about the space but now that it's here I'm really happy with it! Things are fitting nicely! It does feel like a little condo, the only down side at this point is that you can't watch tv from the kitchen table, so we're forced to talk! Not a bad thing:) Plus this one has the double slide in the bedroom as well which is so nice not to be cramped like 99% of them are.

There are some rear kitchen floor plans that look more like a home, but none of them were the quality we were looking for.

Gook Luck!

That is a beautiful kitchen!!  Doe you have enough room for hang-ups?  Looks like it is mostly drawers in the bedroom.

Very nice!  Beautiful!  So refreshing to see after all the same usual plans!

I have been looking at these floor plans and I just got an idea... I feel like these living rooms are more isolated from the kitchen area and more conducive to having an office niche in.
