Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We are Gene and Eileen from Northern VA and we are planning on retiring in the spring of 2014. We have spent the last year or more going to RV shows and dealers. They are all starting to look alike. This past September we rented a class C from Cruise America in Tampa FL and stayed at the Bay Aire RV Park in Palm Harbor, FL. for a week, we had a great time and enjoyed the RV experience. The camp hosts were very helpful. Then we went to the RV show in PA and have since narrowed the field to 5th wheels and small class As. Leaning towards a 5th wheel. We have settled on a floor plan that we like with a few modifications. Next up is getting our house ready for the spring market. We hope to sell our house, buy a MH or a 5w and truck and take it to the 2014 Spring Rally. We are happy we found this web site early in the process, (early 2013) it has provided lots of answers and guidance.
Hello from kenny an frances wood. We are new to this forum to. there is a lot of info on this form and we have enjoyed reading all the different post. An our house will go on the market this spring to.an we will also be at the spring rally to.hope to meet everyone there.
Welcome to being active participants on the RV Dreams forums. As you've discovered this site earlier, you probably know all about the advantages of both Howard and Linda's experiences and the knowledge base that is the forum members. Feel free to ask questions as we all learn from each other and that can help us keep from learning those expensive "ah-ha" moments.
Good luck with all your research and planning.
Terry

Welcome! and good luck with your plan!! We've been officially full time for 1 week now and are loving it:) Our grandson is on fall break and came to stay 3 nights with us. He was sooo excited to go "camping" in the "coolest house ever" on his break:) We roasted hot dogs and made s'mores over the fire, fun memories! The only down side is the house sell fell through, hopefully we'll get a new buyer SOON or the previous one will get another buyer for her home!

Hello from Jean & Jocelyne, finally your dream ain't so far. We also went to the Hershey RV show and let me tell you I had a hard time leaving without my RV. We hope to join the fulltimer community around september 2015. Good luck for the sale of the House and the final details.
