Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hello from the beautiful highland lakes area of the Texas Hill Country...Horseshoe Bay/Marble Falls...on Lake LBJ. My husband and I (61/60 yrs. old) have just decided on our first ever RV...a 32', Class A 2002 Tiffin Allegro Motorhome. We will be taking possession of it next week. We are looking forward to taking the leap into our new lifestyle. You will be seeing us on here with many questions, I am sure

Welcome! It is so exciting to see so many of us making this choice! I still have some fears about giving up my reliable income and counting on finding work on the road, but the more I research and plan, the more the enthusiasm grows larger than the fears. We have a deposit on a 5'er and hope for a quick sale when we put the house on the market in January. This forum is awesome--so much helpful information, and warm friendly people. I am looking forward to meeting many of you on the road!
Jo

Thank you for the warm welcome. I am looking forward to getting to know some of you here. Jo, I have three daughters that are RN's and a son in law who is a Physical Therapist. One daughter, specifically, has talked about becoming a travel nurse too. It is great that you guys have an occupation that allows you to travel and find employment. Good luck, happy trails and God bless!

I have an ex-wife that is a traveling nurse. Makes great money and has seen alot of the country. She had to put her time in, but the company lets her choose her destinations now.
