Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
My name is Mike, I am 43, married to my best friend, and "bonus" Dad to 4 awesome young people, ages 16, 18, 23 and 25. My wife Stacy joined this forum 4 years ago, not knowing when we'd ever get an RV, but hoping our dream would come true. Well, I'm happy to say that it came true a little over a week ago now! I was able to trade my 2002 Harley Davidson Deuce for a one-owner 1992 Winnebago Adventurer with a mere 31K miles on it. The previous owners loved this rig and took wonderful care of it, and we feel very lucky to have found it (it found us actually).
We're getting ready for our maiden voyage at the end of September, going to my hometown of Houston, TX and to Galveston for a much needed week by the water!
Our plan is that when our youngest graduates high school in two years, we will hit the road full time. We've got lots to learn and do between now and then, as neither of us have ever had an RV before. We both feel pretty green, but hopefully it'll come easily. Glad to be here!

I'm presuming that your wife would be SplusH. At least she posted something the other day with a similar description of the RV.
At any rate, we are glad to have both of you as active participants in the forums and hope you take the time to ask questions as you need about RV'ing the the RV lifestyle. A lot of the folks are here with a willingness to help you with answers.
Glad to have you as part of the family.
Terry
