Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
My name is Tammy and I live near Atlanta, GA. The kids and I have been working for a year on a virtual trip across the country in an RV. Right now, it is a dream....but we are learning, planning and saving for it. The kids have it all mapped out....and have visited all the websites for the places they want to go. We home school so that part of the dream is taken care of already.....now we have decided to try make the virtual a reality and with God, nothing is impossible.
!I look forward to getting to know you all on here..and learning all that I can about RV living.
Good people here that are more than willing to answer any questions about RVing that you may have.
Don't hesitate to ask.
Good luck with your plans,
Jim

Actually, based on their chosen destinations, the trip would totally cover Science, Social Studies and History for the entire year. They would only really have to do sit down lessons for math and language arts! It would be the experience of a lifetime, for sure. My hope is that seeing all the wonderful things this nation has....that it will inspire them to reach for the stars.I refuse to allow them to become part of the gimme generation we have now!
It will be an awesome experience for them. Far better than anything they can learn in school! I am still reading and learning everything I can about RV's.....we will have to get a class C.....and definitely a bunkhouse....LOL! You know the one question I really have...is it better to get an actual oven or the microwave/convection combo?
