Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

R U passing through CT? We R offering a place to overnight, possibly longer.

Cheri and I have talked it over and would like to meet full timers to gain more insight 1st hand, so we  decided to offer a stop over location located in Bolton, CT, just minutes from major interstates 91&84. We are 1 mile from the end of I-384  We have a grass lot 156'x75'  with water/electric ( at the moment I have 30amps on soft wire but soon to be hard wired 30amps)and sewer (portable grinder pump through garden hose to sewer line).

Length of unit: doesn't matter as long as you are able to back it in

Age: as long as you act your age and not your shoe size.(as we all know it only takes 1 bad apple to spoil it for everyone else)  no kids please.

Arrival time: not after 4pm (we have neighbors and it is VERY VERY quiet here)

Cost: 1or 2 days is on us, play it by ear for longer stay, then a donation towards electric.

Activities: We live direct lakefront so fishing, swimming, kayaking, relaxing.

Shopping: mins. from mall and large chain grocery stores. Sams club and BJ's Wholesale club  are in the area as well. Costos  is 30 miles away up I 91

RV repairs: 1/4 mile from here,  Bolton notch RV.  (860) 645-8233  They are GREAT people.   www.boltonnotchrv.com

We look forward to meeting you and hearing your stories about living on the road.

there aren't that many places to stay in CT, so thats really nice. We came through that way last year, so won't be back for quite a while, too bad!
