Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

As some of you know I've been working at Retama Village in Mission Texas since late January 2013.  After a lot of changes I'm finally getting my feet on the ground and wanted to let you all know that if you are looking for a place to park the RV for a few months in the winter, we have some great opportunities.  I'm really enjoying the community and if I can't RV fulltime right now, at least I get to hangout with some of the best people in the world -- other RVers!

I do, in fact, have three rental sites at Retama, so if you want to check it out let me know and I will accommodate you if I can. Right now my personal lot is available for all but March/April 2014. I'd like a 3 month rental on that lot. But I'll take a month in November or October. The lot is 4105 Lark,and is in a preferred location and orientation. Retama is the nicest luxury park in the Valley. It is next to Bentsen Palm Village (same developer). You can use BP facilities as well as the Retama facilities. As Carol can vouch for - this is a VERY NICE environment. No pop-ups or truck campers in Retama, and Retama is 55+. BP is any age.
