Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Celebrating this is the last time.....

It's spring clean up time for the yard, so happy to know this is the last time I have to trim the ivy away from the waterfall in our back yard, the last time to clean the deck, power wash the patio, kill the moss in our yard.  I am so NOT going to miss this part of home ownership.

Amazing how our perspective has changed over time, 11 1/2 years ago when we bought this place we were thrilled to have a 1/2 acre lot , 1000 sq foot patio, hot tub, 700 sq foot deck, a waterfall feature in the landscaping.  However, after spending the last 4 summers on the road we realized we're missing the best time of year to enjoy all these outdoor ammenities and are so looking forward to not have to take care of all of them again.

Every day a few more things checked off the "to do" list!!

I can relate.................a year and a half ago we thought it was great to have five acres, a pool, hot tub, barn, horses, four dogs and hardwood floors in a 3300 square foot house............now, its just work.

One more grass cutting and the zero turn will go on Craigslist.  With my Shark floor steamer.  Good riddance!!

We also are in the last stages of our plan to become full timers. We hope this past weekend that we cleaned our windows for the last time! We live in a loft with 29 windows which are 7' tall and 4' wide. I hope all that work helps this place sell when we put it on the market in a few weeks! It is strange how our attitude has changed!

I sure don't miss weeding the garden and sidewalks. It was a never ending battle.
