Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

The countdown is on....

Im a little overwhelmed....but will survive!

Our target is to be out of this house by May 1st.....the real estate agents in and out and trying to keep everything organized has been a challenge.

Im sorting through what to keep and move to storage, what to donate, what to sell. Its draining!

But, we found a place to move the horses for a while, and its close to the KOA camp.  We also found some great camping spots at Cloudland Canyon State Park we really like! Also close to the horses.

We have our mail forwarding taken care of at the UPS Store.

Gotta sell a horse trailer and a Beetle and some other large items.  Whatever we cant sell we will move to the plant and sell from there. no biggie.

Been living in the RV in the driveway. The neighbors think we are nuts.

Sometime soon I hope I can get into bed without banging my head on the storage area above the headboard. I do it EVERY TIME. Every time.  Ouch. disbelief

Progress. Slow but sure.  If I didnt have a job this would be so much easier.....

I can relate to the "if I didnt' have a job, this would be so much easier". Right now a big drain on my time is getting the yard in shape to go on the market. Seems to rain every weekend, sun will come out mid-week and disappear just in time for the weekend.

Good luck we're on a time frame to have the house on the market early to mid-May, these last few weeks have been overwhelmingly busy.

We can relate. We have a closing date for  May 31st. I feel like I am going in circles trying to figure out what to take and what to get rid of. A little harder

than I thought it would be.

With regards to the critters scratching at the door, we went out and purchased a sheet of thin plexiglass at Lowes.  Then, using double sided sticky foam strips, Jo attached it to the frame of the screen.  She initially put up an 8 inch wide piece and we quickly saw that our largest dog was raising up on her haunches enough to reach the top of that one.  Since they don't just cut off 8" pieces and sell just that, she then took the rest of the plexiglass and installed it just above the 8" piece.

Then, since the plexiglass was in two pieces, she taped them together with some white duct tape.  If we had started with the full sheet, cut to the proper width, it would look nicer than this does.  However, our two MinPins are both getting pretty old, and when they are gone, we'll just remove the whole thing and remove the foam adhesive pieces from the frame of the screen door.

Yeah, things I thought I needed, now I wish would just *poof* be gone!

Got the horses moved to a great place, so no worries there.

It has been raining here for a week. Making moving a little more challenging.

Got our spot reserved at the KOA Lookout Mountain.

Burned my first biscuits today.  wink

Couple more days..........gotta find something to protect the screen door from dawg paws..........Im being proactive on this one because I see in my little crystal ball exactly what is gonna happen.

Back at it...........
