Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
We've made it!! What a trial to get here. New tires, wheels, axles (axles were way out of line, so had to be straightened) that melted the brake lines, so that had to be fixed. Washed the trailer in antisipation to leave on Monday the 25th of March and found 2 small tears in the rubber roof. Had the service center that was taking care of us check it on Monday morning and found out the roof had rot. The moisture was coming from inside, the ply wood was covered with black mold and delaminating. So we now have a nice new roof.
Left Sequim on March 13 and are now at River Bend Resort in Harrisburg OR. We have an appointment on April 2 to have solar installed, then it off we go. So far we are loving being on the road, but really anxious to go boondocking. We need to rebuild our bank account. Have had to spend a lot more than we wanted, but glad the problems happened before we left our home area.

Wow, Ann & Hank! You've been thru it. How did i not realize you were in Sequim, we have former neighbors, Pete & Diane there in a house and a Pinnacle, in case you met them? Can't wait to see you on the road. Am sure your Solar installation will go well. We'll be at Crater Lake RV Resort Hosting this summer if you're around! See PM.

Sherry, Crater Lake is definitely on our must see list. My Aunt & Uncle took me there when I was a kid, but don't remember much about it. AM Solar is doing the solar system and I've heard good things about them, so sure all will go well.
We do feel lucky that all the problems that could go wrong have and now as Mike says it's time for the Happy Dance!!
