Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

looking for Kid friendly Georgia Mountain campgorund

I want to take the Grand kids to the Georgia mountains later this year. Looking for big rig friendly campground that has plenty of outdoor activity for a 4 and 7 year old. Any thoughts?

Trackrock Campground near Blairsville, GA.

Very kid and adult friendly.  We've gone there for years – like 35.

What part of Georgia? There are some near Lookout Mountain/Chattanooga.  I live in north GA but work in Chattanooga and have been looking at the RV park options in that area.

one has go karts, a cave, mini golf, pool. looks fun!

Plus, Lookout Mountain has lots to do with the kids.  Sorry. Afterthought.

Fort Yargo State Park outside of Winder, GA is very neat for kids. Situated on a lake, disc golf, mini golf, basketball, playground, beach, etc.

Cross Creek.  http://www.crosscreekcampground.com/    Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.  There is lots to do and see there.   I don't think that you will be disappointed.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. We are going to plan a trip to bounce around N.Ga.
I am going to start hitting the north Georgia mountain in a search for a place to summer once we retire.
