Any chance of Canadians getting the service?

I have had used Millenicom for internet for almost three years now and it works well. Have traveled extensively and seen all kinds of set ups from some very frustrated people! I am not a computer guru by any means and this setup is fairly easy to maintain.

Ignore the "coverage" button on Millenicom's website, it is to see if they can sell you a particular service since in some locations they can't. For the 20GB plan, use Verizon's coverage maps (including extended network), for the "unlimited" plan use Sprint's coverage maps, and for the Basic plan use T-Mobile's coverage maps. The 20GB plan has the same data coverage as Verizon's own.

Edit: Verizon's coverage map is at http://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/CoverageLocatorController . Select "Data Coverage" and refresh to get started.

I know this thread is from Feb, but we're just now getting ready to hit the road. How's Melenicom's coverage in remote areas. I tried the address of the SKP Park in Benson, AZ on the location finder, and it failed to locate it. That's a somewhat populous area, so I wonder how the service is for boondockers.

That is the "unlimited plan", the 20GB plan is on Verizon's network.

Verizon tends to have the best overall coverage of all of the carriers. But even so, there will be spots they don't service. We find supplementing with AT&T ups our odds of getting online substantially.

Definitely check the individual carrier's coverage maps to check if service is available in the places you want to be. And if you have an iPhone/Ipad, we have an app called 'Coverage?' that overlays the major carriers maps - making it easier for us travelers to know where we might be able to find coverage as we roam the country.

Thanks that's where I would want it, we had a hard time getting Verizon with no US zip, luckily a rep let us use his.
