Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

New adventure / Moving to North Carolina

Hello all

The time has come for Terri and I to start a new chapter in our lives.  We will be moving in our 5er to High Point / Greensboro, North Carolina.  Terri has been offered a great job opportunity that we really can't turn down.  So that this will keep us from traveling on a full time basis but we couldn't have asked for a better area to move to till we can get on the road more permanently.

So I write this post to all in hopes that someone may have some suggestions on where we can park our 5er.  We are open to any suggestions, however I do not see many campgrounds in the area.  We will also check into mobile home parks once we get there, but I thought I would reach out to the RV Dreams Family for any great ideas or spots that the family has.

Thanks in advance,

John and Terri Shea

Check out RV park reviews, I found a few nicely rated parks in the area.

There is a KOA on I40/85 before the farmers market in Greenboro. Thats the only one I can pull off the top of my head.

Found this one, looks like a decent place, from looking at the site they charge around $240 a week for 50 amp FHU. They probably do a monthly rate too, but it's not listed.
Good luck on your new move.

Thanks all. We are on our way today and will be staying at the Greensboro campground till we can look around for a more permanent place. We may even look at getting a piece of property.
