Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Change in plans

I have been wanting to post this for about a week now and cannot seem to find the words.

After my "life event" last year I have had a hard time on the road.  I am still healing but doing very well.

The bad news is......that beautiful Newmar that became my avatar has been sold.  The good news is that it has been replaced with a 2012 Silverado pulling a small Jayco.

We will set some roots in Arizona and continue to travel as much as possible.

This has been a terrific place to come for information and support.  It is truly one of the best sites on the internet.

Thank you all  and safe travels!

Janni: Sometime we have to stop and smell the roses along the way. I have been idle since August 1st here in TN. on the mend; wondering
what's in store for the next chapter of my life. Nothing wrong with letting the body get it's needed rest!!!

Like Kenny Rogers Song: Sometimes we have to know when to hold em', know when to fold em', know when to walk away and know when to run. For now I believe we knew when to walk away!!!! confuseconfuse

Stay a part of the forum and keep us posted as you progress. My doctor keeps saying: Let time take time---but I want it now--I'm spoiled in a good way!!! LOL! biggrinbiggrin

Janice,

Sorry to hear of the "life issues" and that you needed to sell your motorhome.  But, it is encouraging that you will still be able to do some camping with the smaller rig.  Even if it isn't full-time, any camping is good.

Like the others said, keep in touch on the forums and who knows whether you might still get to meet up with some of the forum participants that you have met here and befriended.

God bless you in all of your new endeavors.

Terry and Jo

Many of us have experienced sorrow over changes in our health. Over Time and Faith we learn that the anger and sadness also heal. Our experiences have taught us to be more sensitive, caring and receptive to the "GIFT OF LIFE".
