Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I'll try again. Just posted a welcome and ended up posting it twice, deleted one and both got deleted. I must have a fat finger today.
Welcome to a great forum and wonderful group of people. Everyone is so helpful and poitive. We too are still stuck in a small Rv park. Just sold our house and moved into a 5th wheel in Nov, doing some upgrades on the wheels and axles then we will hit the road. Hope to see you out and about someplace. Ann

I'm new to RV Dreams! My name is Kelly and my partners name is Lisa. We are currently living full time in our motor home in Northern Illinois until August. Then we will take off for the road! It's been an adventure just being stationary at the campground since July but it's been a blast! Especially the last few months staying warm with four electric heaters! It's cheaper than propane since electric goes up here in the winter months! So far we have managed just fine!
Welcome to a great forum. Everyone is so helpful and positive. Hope to meet you out on the road, we are just starting out. Moved into our new 'home' in Nov., doing some upgardes then hitting the road in a few weeks. Ann
HI and Welcome! I am sitting here in North-central Tennessee with a 30 degree temperature. Haven't even decided to leave my warm motorhome. Last Night we had a windchill of 11, the coldest so far this winter. Hopefully you both will find this to be the friendliest group of people on the internet. Peace and blessings right back!

Hi & Welcome, We've been static for 8 mos, mobile for four, since May of 2011.When static, we are in a park with a lot of in & out activity (it is Las Vegas, after all), and it has been ALMOST as good as travel, but in any event, never boring. We've met lots of great folks from all over the US & Canada, as well as many europeans who rnet RV's to travel the west. When mobile, we've been back and forth across the country twice and up and down the east coast. After we retire in June, we plan to take it at a much slower pace, but since we favor the West (we lived in CA & NV for the past 27 yrs), we will always spend a few months back here. Very eager to start the next adventure, wish you well on yours.
Richard

Welcome, Stay warm. I know it cold up there in Illinois right now. That's why we left and came south. Down here people think it's cold if it gets down to the mid 30's at night.
Mike; I forgot to tell you in Maine it doesn't thaw out until Mid-July or early August; then if you don't get out of there it starts all over in Mid-Sept. or early October. I am soory i didn't inform you about this earlier! See Ya in October! LOL!

Welcome Kelly and Lisa. As you can tell there are friends here from everywhere doing what it takes to get through the winter. As for me? I am busy shoveling sunshine in the great state of Arizona.
