Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Complete Newb, Gonna Be!

Hi everyone! I am completely new to the RV world. I work for the pipeline with my boyfriend and we have decided to take the plunge into the RV world. It is substantially cheaper than paying for a hotel every week (when you get it paid off finally that is smile). Neither of us own homes so this RV is going to be our home so price really isn't a problem here. The problem is getting the bank to agree to give us the loan biggrin.  Anyways, I own 4 ferrets, a hamster, and a betta fish and I would have many more if I had the time (Yes they all travel from hotel to hotel with us)! We have done a little research here and there and today finally sat down and really looked at what one we would want. I will make another post about that because I have some questions that I wanted to ask and this is an indroductory forum. We don't plan on jumping into anything and want to learn as much as possible (which is why I am here!) before we make our purchase. I for one cannot wait as this will be my first 'house'!

Katelyn,

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  You will find it to be a source of valuable information from a number of very knowledgeable folks with experience in just about every form of RV.  We welcome your questions as we all tend to learn from each other and each question can bring a different perspective.

Terry
