Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
i am so glad i happened to find you all. i go to this wonderful site to learn amap, even scrolling back to all the "threads" (new word to me) from 2006 to learn all i can . patti and i have always loved to camp when kids were small. now over the last five years have really gotten into the rv life, part-time, traveling first with our travel trailer, now our 5er. i don't know how she did it, but i'd usually give anything to go play golf, but now i work every day until she says let's go! we play a little when we travel but that is only secondary. we love seeing different areas of this country, traveling different routes to previous destinations! i have many questions and you guys are providing immeasurable info. thanks again to howard and linda for this site and the rest of you for all the great info. i've told SO many people that rver's are a different breed! thanks again mark and patti

Welcome to the forum Mark and Patti, glad to have you aboard. Fire away with your questions...someone on the forum has probably been there/done that/got the t-shirt and can help you out.
Dan

thanks dan, i've been on here for about a month and i really don't know how anything can be more addictive. patti retired may '10, and even tho' i'll probably never fully retire, in about 2 1/2 years we are really going to do some traveling. mark
Mark, read at your own peril. The more you read you will, no doubt, want to retire COMPLETELY... sooner rather than later! Welcome to this incredible site. Howard and Linda are highly respected for all they do and how they share it all with us. Like you and everyone else, I'm addicted!! Actually, I'm a wannabe... a dreamer, but still addicted! So many wonderful and knowledgeable folks here. Again, welcome!
I hear ya! We are inching closer to fulltimimg every month, we are now living full time in the DP, but hubby still hanging on to his job by the fingernails, Hoping to pull the plug this time next year. We took our first trip 'away' last week, drove to Cocoa Beach and stayed on Patrick afb famcamp for the week, what a blast that was!! Now we are determined to get this 'dream' up and running asap!
Welcome Mark and have fun here, we will all help out with whatever we can, you just need to ask.... huggs Kim x
