sounds like a job for super geek!!!!!!!!!.........................good luck Gene , wiring in that many multiples always sends me over the edge.....you might want to talk with a tele communications installer.......these are the guys that wire audio Video commercially(LOL....figure you already new that!!!.....and can read your mind as your talking to me!)

they might be able to set you up with digital switching so you could run all from your Ipad or android.......just a thought!!!!

New class A's for 2013 have full command from Ipad and android apps!!!

While I used to be first an assistant manager and finally a manager of a retail store for a "major national retail electronics" store, the systems now are far more complicated than things were back then. I clearly remember standing at the counter with a piece of paper and drawing out a diagram for a customer who simply explained how he needed to hook up his TV/VCR/Stereo to operate simply. Key word there is "simply." All that to say that things are out of my league now. Shoot, I can't even figure out all of our own stuff now.

You are right to try to get help from a regular audio/video business. I've had folks say that the "Geek Squad" was the way to go, but I've seen too many of those folks have no clue as to what to do and thus mess up more than they help.

Good luck, Gene. I really wish I could help, but the way things are now, I would have to actually see the equipment and the connections that are there in order to determine what would be needed. No more drawing out diagrams at the retail counter for me.

No, it’s not too much to ask, but trust me, as simple as the AV stuff is, as my wife says, “you have to know too much.”

You may not know, but the Carolina Clan branch of RV-Dreams is having its unofficial / official fall Rally next week in Huntington Beach, SC at the State Park. How far are you from there in Myrtle? I can’t completely rewire a rig in an hour, but maybe some of it . . . or at least commiserate with you.

The Sirrus / XM is sometimes the hardest if the amp doesn’t have that little special input, it depends. The secret to all this is the amp doing all the switching and usually an AM-1 receiver connected / integrated into the Direct TV DVR for off-air TV. That works really well. Yea – bla bla bla – but we’ll see what we can do if time permits. I haven’t yet seen an RV from the factory wired correctly or anyone in a dealership that can explain how to work the AV stuff properly. They do wood; they don’t do electronics very well in my experience.

I recently bought a new flat screen TV for the bedroom. When I got it out of the box I couldn't believe how many different input connections it had. I thought I'll never run out of connections. Fast forward to last weekend. I ran out of connections....

Between the Sat receiver, my Play Station, a Sony DVD/internet TV box and WiFi adaptor, I'm out of HDMI connections. I need one more.

It sounds like you need and now I need a digital switch box with remote control. It will allow you to plug in all of the stuff that puts out a signal and feed it to one or more TVs, other video and audio devices.

Bill, thanks for your kind offer, unfortunately I am back in NY now and planning my next trip to Myrtle Beach, maybe Thanksgiving, maybe later.....you really hit the nail on the head as did most of you who responded. So many wires, some are even nicely bundled good and neat, but screwed up none the less. I appreciate how everyone on the Forum understands the frustrating conditions that we have to deal with,,,, dont get me wrong, these are the types of problems I am grateful to have, have a nice safe weekend, stay safe....
