Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hi Guys

Hi to all,

Pete and I have a toy hauler and been doing some traveling the last year. We are both retired and could not go for to long do to the fact that

his mother had lived with us. But sadly a month ago we had to put her in a nursing home and now we are doing all the paper work and trying

to get things moving so we can get traveling full time. We will be puting our house on the market and I have started cleaning things out.

We live in Long Island New York and can not wait to get out of here. Time to live our Dream of traveling the USA.

Just wanted to say hi to all will chat again soon.

Claudia

Good morning, Claudia, and welcome!  I completely understand your situation as we, too, are caring for my husband's elderly aunt.  She is currently living with us, but a few more nights like last night or a few more weekends like this weekend could change things.  It has been a long, hard year and we are getting tired.  Many of us on this board have been in your shoes (or are in your shoes) and know what you have been up against.  My husband is retired (almost 4 years) and I am still working.  HOWEVER, I have 45 weeks from today before I am eligible for retirement.  We plan to fulltime in God's time.  In the meantime, we are dreaming and preparing.  I wish you the very best!!
