Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.


We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

How far in advance do you pick the area or region where the rallies are held?  Any ideas yet for '13?

Oooh....ooooh.....

....Well, I'd hope for Oklahoma, but your last experience across Highway 3 up through the Panhandle of Oklahoma may have made you decide to never touch this state again.  Looking forward to hearing where it might be.

Oh, you wouldn't have known at the time, but we met you up near the Panhandle that year.  You were going towards Clayton Lake in New Mexico (which you never found) and we were leaving the Panhandle to go back down-state.

Oh, and if you ever decide to go to Clayton Lake again, give me a holler and I can tell you how to find the road going there.

 You missed it by one year. That's where the fall 2011 rally was. Lots of fun too

We are working some big rallies in the west in 2013, so we are trying to plan our Rallies around those events.

Of course we just scheduled a "Boondocking Rally" in Quartzsite, AZ for Feb 10 - 24.

And we're looking at a Spring Rally in Arizona or New Mexico in March.  We are working the Good Sam Rally in Albuquerque April 11 - 14, so we are thinking Arizona or New Mexico before that but we have to work around Easter which falls at the end of March.  Therefore we are looking at either March 12 - 17 or 19 - 24.  Hopefully, we'll have that scheduled in the next week or two.

In May, we will be in Colorado Springs, CO for the RVSEF Conference May 13 -16 (we will be doing 8 - 10 seminars there).

In June, we will be working the FMCA International Rally in Gillette, WY  (June 19 - 21).

At this point we have no idea where we will schedule the Fall rally for 2013, but we usually try to have something scheduled 4 - 6 months in advance so folks can plan.

howard, what is the RVSEF conference? we are planning to be in colorado about the whole month of may and might want to check it out, love colorado springs, but cave of the winds a little claustrophobic! mark
