Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Financing after a Short Sale

It's up to the lender. You may need to shop around to find a lender who will ignore the short sale and pay attention to your overall credit.

Take a look at www.daveramsey.com his tips can help you to find other ways to get the things you need or want. He has helped many folks out of the credit hole.

My credit is back up to good. Job history & debt ratio is good ... but the short sale two years ago is my one credit ding. I'm petrified it will stop our RV retirement dream. I understood I could buy a home after two or three years.

Thanks The Bear II Dave Ramsey looks like a awesome financial guy.

The only people that can answer the question are the finance guys. I would go down to the bank or credit union you normally use and talk to them, be honest and up front and they will more then likely give you an honest answer without making you jump thru all of the hoops of filling out an actual credit app and applying. Be aware that there are a lot of people in your situation due to the recession and many of them get loans for cars, rvs, etc.

Good Luck

JT
