Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

Hi! Wanna Be!

Hi. I'm Karen, from Indiana. My husband and I are seriously looking at buying a motorhome to live in and eventually be able to travel! Because of life situations we have found ourselves in I decided that full-timing it in a motorhome would be a step-up from where we are right now.

I don't see us ever being able to afford a place to live AND a motorhome or vacation spot so why not make the place we live our vacation spot.

My parents owned two different motorhomes so I have been able to spend quite a bit of time in one.

My ultimate dream is to find a way to make our income online so we can travel. I would like to eventually end up on a beach in the Carolinas!

I'm looking forward to learning a lot from all of you.

- Karen

Karen,

Welcome to the RV Dreams forums.  If you've not read too much before registing for the forums, allow me to tell you that the participants on the forums are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

As we all tend to learn from each other, fire away with questions.  While you are considering a motorhome, you will find that the folks here are knowledgable about every version of RV, just in case you change your mind.  In addition to answers, they will also provide you with alternative ideas.

So, sit back and become part of the family.

Terry

Welcome Karen,  There are lots of folks who either run businesses on the road while they travel or either work or volunteer at different places for specific periods of time to help keep costs down.

I hope you will soon be out here traveling around with all of us who just love this lifestyle.  We've been fulltiming for 16 years and can think of nothing better for us.  Hugs, Di

Thanks for the warm welcome. I have all ready looked around the site a little and realized that there is a wealth of information here. That's the reason I wanted to join this group. I hope in time I will be able to help others in their endeavors.

We went to a local RV dealer yesterday to look at some Newmars. We have a lot to learn and are thankful to have all of you here to share your experiences.

Karen
