Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

One more week

I’ve been a member since 2008 and have read this forum almost every day.  My wife and I were going to go fulltime last year but things just didn’t work out.  I just realized I haven’t posted very often but I read so much that I feel I know some of you.  We have been working over the past year to get rid of stuff.  Having garage sales, giving stuff away,  throwing stuff out and we’ve almost made it.  We have fixed up the house and listed it, (not much action) purchased a truck and fifthwheel, and will be moving into it fulltime next week, as I only have 8 more day before my last day of work.  We plan to hit the road fulltime in Sept. heading to a warmer climate for the winter.  Hope to meet some of you one the road.

Dave and Marge

Congrats Dave & Marge!

We will be hitting the road in Sept as well although we're heading to the pacific northwest for the winter......go figure:). We've been down sizing for the past 6 months and it's a big job. Just like you selling, giving, donating and trashing.

We sold the house in Sept. 2009, moving into our RV until Feb. 2010 when we both quit our jobs and left town.

It was awesome traveling for more than a year.

Then there was an illness in the family and we have settled down again. Hopefully some day we'll get to
head out again.

In the meantime we do just weekends now and then.

I wish you all the best of luck. Enjoy your traveling - it is the greatest!
