Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

B---first of all welcome, I do not own one or know anyhing about Open Range, so I have no answers to your problems, however I would suggest that if you have not already done so contact the manufacture and let him know your displeasure and insist that the problems be addressed. Either by explanation of construction methods and/or needed repairs. It sounds like it could possibly be major problems and may need to be taken back to the factory at least to be looked at by a knoweldgeable person. Being a fulltimer this should be "do able" on your part (getting it there). I would keep after them until you are satisfied, they owe you that. Stay reasonable, stay calm, but stay firm, and good luck.

Bill,

First of all, welcome to the forums.  While I can't answer your questions about the Open Range, we did consider them at one time.  Another source of help for you might be at the Open Range Owner's Forums.  It would be another forum on which you would need to register, but you might find more answers with the participants there.

Open Range Owner's Forum

Good luck with your issues.

Terry

The Open Range Owners Forum is the place to go. I have an OR, although not the size or configuration of yours. We had a major repair need,(rubber roof replacement) which OR & our dealer took care of without hassle. As you navigate the OR forum, you will see that some folks whose dealers are not competent to do extensive repairs have gone back to the factory and were very pleased.Fortunately as we are static a good part of the year, our dealer here had the ability to do the roof replacement. Sorry to hear you are having difficulty. My daily participation on that forum leads me to believe they will take care of you.
