Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.

We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!

2007 Alfa See Ya Gold 35RLIK 5th wheel

My husband and I are going start full-timing soon.  We are looking at an Alfa See Ya Gold 5th Wheel.  We'd love to hear from anyone who owns this brand.  Good?  Bad?  Thanks so much!

We have an Alfa See-Ya 5th wheel. It was built in 1994. We have been very happy with it. For the most part it still looks brand new both inside and outside. We use it once per month for weekend trips and stay in it for two solid months during the summer.

It gets washed several times per year and waxed every other year. We have added an electric fireplace and desk/dining table setup. We are getting ready to remove all carpet and put in laminate flooring.

We chose Alfa because the units had lots of extra amenties you would find in high end units but the the Alfas were mid-priced.

We actually watched it being built at the factory so we know it from the floor up.

Currently we have about 30,000 travel miles on it. We've had the usual problems you have when an RV gets older. Nothing major, no structural problems.

The floorplan we have is so good that twice in past several years we were going to buy a new 5th wheel but couldn't find anything that fit us like this one does.

The most important thing is that you like it....It's your home. Take care of it and it will take care of you.
