Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Hi Everyone,
The name's Kris. Born in Poland, I moved around to England to France and then, 20 odd years later, back to Poland. I have spent most of my 38 years doing music and that is what I still do. The idea of living on the road full time has been growing in me for a while now. Living in Europe I have been looking at all the available set ups and none of them suited my needs, which included having my small writing and music production rig set up in the RV. And then I went to the states and saw the 5th wheelers :))). I new then this was what I needed. My knowledge of them is still limited and I am doing all my research from home. I apologize in advance for any silly questions that my come from my side :)
Best Regards to All
Kris

Welcome to the RV Dreams forum family. We will welcome your questions and comments as new perspectives are always appreciated. Feel free to ask away.
Now, as to your actual RV'ing plans, will your traveling still be done in England and Europe? If so, you would need to look into an RV that was equipped with appliances and such that could operate on 50 cycle electric.
Good luck with your research and planning. We are ready to encourage you in your quest.
Terry

Welcome to the forum Kris. Where do you plan to do your travelling? If you are going to stay in Europe and Great Britian you might want to consider the roads. Although I have not been in England I have been in Scotland and I know I would not want to try to pull our 37 foot 5th wheel through many of those roads. Just something to think about.
Good luck with your research and feel totally free to ask any questions you might think up. Keep us posted on how it goes.
Vicky

Thank You for such warm welcome . I will undoubtly have many questions. As You say Ivey. Europe is not very well fitted for such rigs but most of the European roads are wider then England and Scotland I intend to stick to the mainland . On the other hand we have the 40 Ton trucks going up the mountains even back in my home country of Poland so a 5th wheel shouldn't be a problem. First thing on my to do list is passing the C+E permit which is needed over here in order to drive a rig like that. Our standard B+E permit allows a maximum of 3.5 tons.
