Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
"The path to our destination is not always a straight one. We go down the wrong road, we get loast, we turn back. Maybe it doesn't matter which road we embark on. Maybe what matters is that we embark."
I've always liked the quote that's in my signature below:
"With change comes opportunity" (Author unknown) If you never move out of your comfort zone you'll miss out on all that our incredible world has to offer!
Of course the correllary to that quote is:
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results". (Albert Einstein) Living in the same house, going to the same job, talking to the same people day after day and wishing you could make things different but doing nothing to make it happen. How many of us are guilty of being that way at some time in our lives?

"Every story has an end. But in life, every ending is just a new beginning. Life goes on – not always the way we had envisioned it would be, but always the way s it’s supposed to be. Remember, we usually can’t choose the music life plays for us, but we can choose how we dance to it. Make yours a beautiful memory."
This hit home today........I needed to share it.....

"With risk comes reward". One thing is certain, giving up the average life to become a vagabond is a risk. The reward is in each of our hearts and memories.

I gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which I must stop and look fear in the face...I say to myself, I've lived through this and can take the next thing that comes along. ---Eleanor Roosevelt

Physical strength can never permanently withstand the impact of spiritual force. Franklin D. Roosevelt
A friend is clearer than the light of heaven, for it would be better for us that the sun were extinguished than that we should be without friends. St. John Chrysostom.
Don't waste today regretting yesterday instead of making a memory for tomorrow. Laura Palmer The other saying is: If you have one foot in yesterday and the other in tomorrow you will "P" all over today. Sooooorrryyyy!

Some of the most beautiful words in the entire world have already been used a thousand times but that doesn't make them any less beautiful.. so too with people!!!

I don't know where the quote came from but I have used this more than once. A pessimist goes to the window and says: "Oh God, it's morning." An optimist goes to the window and says: "Thank you God for the morning."
As the latter, I figure that I can handle just about anything that comes at me while on the road. All it takes is a beautiful sunset and enough wine.
