Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I found a website that looks pretty interesting, so I thought I'd share. It's http://parks.mapquest.com
It lists all the US National Parks, gives an overview about the park, activities you can participate in, wildlife you might see & some history about the park.
I've had some fun just looking around & seeing all the wonderful National Parks we have here in the USA! Hope you find it useful too!
Thanks for the link....and may I add that the BEST DEAL IN AMERICA is the Senior Pass for the National Park system - DO NOT LEAVE HOME WITHOUT ONE !!!!

I also think that visiting every national park would be awesome! However for at least 1 park I know of in Alaska, the only way to get there is by plane! Have to leave the RV behind for that one.

Well, after looking at that one, Gates of the Arctic National Park, I guess I'll have to pass. That one would really be remote and one would be totally on their own. I'm a little bit too old and like my creature comforts too much for that one, in spite of how beautiful it might be.
So, while Jo and I want to visit all the national parks, I believe I'll take that one off the list.
By the way, thanks for posting this link. Not only did it give me a full list of the parks, but a fair amount of information about each one. Good job.
Terry

Unlike the Gates of the Artic NP which could take all summer to do, we did the Teddy Roosevelt NP in under an hour last week in NY. But TR had such an interesting life, and was the most instrumental US President in establishing and conserving our National Parks. Certainly worth doing ...
Cindy do you know if there is a similar map to cover the National Historical Parks.....things like that?
As an example I just went through Lyndon B Johnson National Historical Park in Stonewall Texas....interesting place and an easy visit. Touring the Texas White House was especially nice - reminded me in 'style' of Graceland - I guess they were built in the same era - although Lyndon didn't have a Jungle Room...
