Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
Prayers headed your way. I remember you from the lunchroom at Amazon, although we didn't work the same departments. My husband Al was the EMT in AmCare. I hope you get back on your feet quickly and head to Florida as planned!

Just want to ask everyone for Prayers as dear hubby (Bob) had a heart attack this past Sunday. Guess we won't be going to Wisconsin this summer to work for the COE at Black Hawk Park. Does anyone need a job? We were suppose to start on May 10th. If so PM me and I'll tell you who to contact.
Doctors say we don't need to be traveling for awhile and then we'll need to stick close for a while after that. I guess it'll be Alabama or western Mississippi for this summer and it gets "hot" here. Hopefully, we'll be able to make it to Florida this winter for our state park volunteer position there.
Judy
Judy: Remain positive and tell Bob to do the same. It works miracles! I can attest to that! Prayers are being sent to Bob and you.
I am doing quite well and improving every day. I have to watch my FAT and sodium intake, take a blood thinner, a red blood platelet booster and anti-clotting agent, blood pressure reducer, 325mg enteric aspirin and Zocor to reduce Cholesterol. I don't go back to the Doctor until may 31st and hope by that time some of the meds will be stopped.
Bob: You and I are survivors; listen to your doctors and take whatever precautions givin to you. Judy; hope that tooth-ache problem is resolved. Maybe see you both on "Freedom Road". Pieere

Be assured that our thoughts and prayers are with Bob.
Hoping he has a speedy recovery and you can return to your dream.

The worst is over! If you mean heart cath; a tube ran up the artery to the heart. Like I stated I had this done up the right arm and then up the RS groin area. Three stent and angioplasty.
Just make sure you relax and listen to the Doc. I am doing better thanks to my employer and the manager, understanding that I can't lift much and have to take many breaks and extra time off. I have worked up to 22 hrs last week and maybe 26 this week. And more prayers are being sent.
I will be starting at Beech Bend May 25th until the end of Sept.; then will have to see how I feel. Suppose to start back at Campbellsville this October.
God Bless! Pieere

Thanks for all the Prayers. We are definitely feeling them. He is at home now but very weak. They did a heart cath on Monday and the future doesn't look real bright. Will have to stay pretty well put for a while. We refuse to give up our lifestyle but may have to keep our distance a little closer in the near future. Will not be fulfilling our contract with the corp this summer at Black Hawk Park in Wisconsin. We are very disappointed in that. Maybe looking for something light later on in the summer Possibly a month or two at Sherando Lake in Washington Forest in Virginia if they need some help around July, August or September. We saw another dreamer will be there in May. Our daughter lives near by in Stuarts Draft, VA. And then we hope to keep our date in Florida for January, February and March with Florida State Parks in St. Augustine.
We will then rebid for next summer with the COE much closer to home. Got lots of things to think about.
Hope Bob is better and Janni is fine! I seem to be doing better as each week passes by. it is so hard for me to stick to the diet of healthier foods, and trying my best. I am working a 40 hr. week at beech Bend Splash Lagoon. Work in games and a ride operator; so far the team captains have been keeping me out of the sun and switching me if a ride gets to strenuous. Have a 3 month check-up on June 27th and hope for good news. Prayers sent and prayers answered. God bless! Pieere
