Wireless Router for USB760

I recently got a a Galaxy notebook and want to connect to my internet connection. I am using Millenicom and have a USB760. I have read some on Cradlepoint and MoFi routers but not sure what to purchase. Does the 3g or 4g make a difference in what to buy? Should I contact and purchase from Millenicom? I am operating on Verizon network if that matters. Thanks in advance for any information.

Another happy 3GStore.com customer here. 760's are very common and about every 3G/4G router supports them. The 3GStore sells about every router that will work so they are the place to talk to. As Cherie says, Millenicom does not sell routers. We are using our Millenicom 760 in an older Cradlepoint MBR-1000. If we bought a Cradlepoint today I would probably get an MBR-95, but would research further including the new Pepwave and WiFiRangers.

3GStore, Millenicom, Amazon, EBay, and Walmart sell the MBR-95. Seems like that one would be the best one for me. I am not completely computer challenged but ease of use is still key.

Just remember you may find the router a little bit cheaper somewhere but 3G Store has excellent customer support where some of the others only sell it to you.

I had never heard that Millenicom sold routers but they have some Cradlepoint routers under "Products". I don't think they used to sell them but if customers were asking their advice they might have seen an opportunity.

I don't know how the Cradlepoint works but the WiFi Ranger does not work properly when passing the 4G speeds. Since you have a 760 modem you will be 3G only so either router should do just fine.

Bill, is there still an issue with the WFR with 4G? I thought they solved that???

When we trying out the Verizon 4G Samsung Hotspot back in November, our WFR worked fine with it. All our issues were isolated to the hotspot.

Jack,
You are kidding right!?!?!?! You spend as much time on the WFR site as I do and you know that I have reported (and WFR has confirmed) the the WFR will not pass the full 4G speed. Generally you will get about 1/2 the available download and the full upload. They have acknowledged the problem and the last response from them was that there was not a dang thing they could do about it. Something about the 2 transmitters, but they left me in the dust with their explanation.
In any case, the WFR and 4G do not play well together. I have posted the 4G WFR and 4G non-WFR results enough times over the last couple of years that no one on the WFR forum could possibly confused by the outcome. The WFR will NOT pass the full 4G speeds and the WFR folks have acknowledged that this is the case with no known resolution.

You do get one year of free technical support if you run into any problems getting things setup and configured.

Actually, Bill, I rarely go to the WFR forums. I remember the original issue and its "outcome" but thought things might have changed. Apparently not. Hopefully it will change in the future, BEFORE I go to 4G.
