Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I recently became a member of Workamper News (I highly recommend) and interestingly enough have already had 2 job offers just yesterday and I don't even have my Resume done yet!
So...I am wondering if there are ways besides Google search to look for reviews on employer's before taking the plunge and accepting a position of work. Seems like other workampers would leave a review especially if there working experience with that employer was not a good experience.
Since I am new to workamping, I want my first gig to go as smooth as possible and want to be able to check out an employer as much as possible KWIM?

From what I have been able to find people are reluctant to leave bad reviews. There is a site that caters to workampers to review good/bad workamping experiences but I can't find the URL right now, perhaps someone else could share it.
Sometimes RV Park Reviews gives insight about the park and the people who run it.

Welcome to this forum! You can join WKN forums. In the top there is a search box. Type in the name of the place, and any other info. Posting a bad review can come back and bite us as employers can also monitor the forum. I can't remember the name of that site either, but a search of the web, maybe, workamper reviews or negative work camping experiences can help. Sometimes, I believe it it only 1-2, it might be the workamper and not the Place. Done this off&on since 1998. Pieere

There is a private forum on the Workamper News Forums called "Workamping Experiences". There are over 1100 posts on that private sub-forum.
However, you have to be a Forum member with a password and login AND you have to be a Workamper News subscriber to access that particular sub-forum. It's not viewable without both those credentials, but if you have signed up for the Forums, you should be able to get in.
The helpfulness of the reviews varies widely, so depending on the employer, it may or may not have what you are looking for.
We missed seeing you at the Grand Rapids RV Show - we did a couple of seminars which included some discussion on this topic.

Yep, could not make it to the RV show. I ended up watching my Grandkids. :(
I am a member on both WKN and Forums so I will have to check things out. And yes...I did use the Concierge code from RVD when I signed up to be a member.
