Hi Everyone. Well, after 15 years the RV-Dreams Community Forum is coming to an end. Since it began in August 2005, we've had 58 Million page views, 124,000 posts, and we've spent about $15,000 to keep this valuable resource for RVers free and open. But since we are now off the road and have settled down for the next chapter of our lives, we are taking the Forum down effective June 30, 2021. It has been a tough decision, but it is now time.
We want to thank all of our members for their participation and input over the years, and we want to especially thank those that have acted as Moderators for us during our amazing journey living and traveling in our RV and growing the RV-Dreams Family. We will be forever proud to have been founders of this Forum and to have been supported by such a wonderful community. Thank you all!!
I too have all the usual questions that all newby's have, and it's great to find a site like this one! I'm a transplanted newenglander living in so. florida and just turned 65. Hopefully the plan is to hit the road fulltime in about a year from now, it's going to take me all of that long asking questions to all you good folks on what all is the best things to do....right now i think i have the hots for a late 80s 30-35 ft airstream classic. thanks for listening.....youWILL be hearing from me again! lol
Welcome to the forum...always room for one more. Ask away with your questions and we will try to help. Also check out the main menu, Howard has addressed many issues already and it's a great place to start researching topics.

Good to have you aboard. Ask away and the friendly folks here on this forum will do their best to help you.
And, remember, there's no "dumb" questions on this forum. Everyone has to start out sometime.

Welcome Bill. The more the merrier! Lot's of good answers on this forum. Airstream has a forum as well, just in case you haven't been there yet.
Thanks Ken, The main reason i like a site like this is because it give lots of food for thought. I mainly like airstream classic's because of aerodynamics, having driven alot of tractor-trailer,,tankers go through the air a lot better than box trailers, particularly when it's windy! so, i've got another year or so to absorb all the info you folks are willing to give...
Welcome to the RV Dreams forums. As the others have mentioned, there is a wealth of knowledge here within the minds of the friendly and helpful folks. We welcome your questions as every question may give us all a different perspective. Also, this lifestyle involves constantly learning.
Jo and I spent 2 years just in the research phase of choosing our RV, and we considered both Class A's and fifth wheels. Don't rule those out as a possibility, especially if you consider going full-time.
In our case, in our earlier RV's we switched from a travel trailer to a fifth wheel. It was certainly a more stable way of pulling and gives one more space for cargo.
Have fun with going to RV shows, RV dealerships, and exploring the internet information. We always carried a digital camera and took pictures of the interiors and exteriors and other features of the different models.
